While DotNetNuke Skin Design is not a service we provide to our clients, it is still a skill that we require our staff to have in order for PowerDNN to be experts
in the DotNetNuke field. These skills allow us to quickly pinpoint and troubleshoot any issues with skins our customers may have.
The Skin Design Certification is earned by demonstrating a proficiency in DotNetNuke skin design and an understanding of the best practices necessary to design and
create DotNetNuke skins. Skins are used to create the look and feel of a DotNetNuke website and simply plug into the framework. To be prepared for the Skin Design
exam candidate should have at least one-year experience in developing HTML and CSS, and one-year experience in developing DotNetNuke skins.
Some of the skills that were assessed to achieve this certification are:
1) Create and manage pages
2) Control permissions within modules
3) Utilize workflows to control content contributions
4) Have knowledge of the different modules available
