We Make DotNetNuke Upgrades Easy

As every DotNetNuke expert knows, upgrading DotNetNuke is not an easy process and sometimes things do not go exactly as you expect them to.  We take the hassle out of upgrading because we can do it for you.

We follow the process below to ensure that your websites are upgraded correctly and to your satisfaction.

  1. We make a complete backup of your Website Files and SQL Database.
  2. We apply the new package and ensure that DotNetNuke upgrades without errors.
  3. You review the upgraded website and do one of the following:
    • You "Bless" the upgraded website and we call the process successful.
    • You "Curse" the upgraded website and PowerDNN rolls back the upgrade.
    • You work with a consultant to resolve any outstanding issues.

This process helps ensure that DotNetNuke websites are always upgraded correctly and efficiently, and if they are not, it allows us to easily troubleshoot any issues as well as issue a rollback if necessary.

DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection

DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection is specifically designed to help you keep your DotNetNuke website up to date and secure.  As long as your DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection is active, whenever a new version of DotNetNuke is released, you may request a free Standard Upgrade for your website.

As an additional benefit, whenever our team performs a Standard Upgrade for you, we will provide you with an additional 30 days of DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection so that if a new version is released within 30 days of the upgrade, we will continue to provide an additional Standard Upgrade and an additional 30 days of DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection.

In order to leverage DotNetnuke Upgrade Protection, you must request your upgrade while your DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection is active.  DotNetNuke Upgrade Protection applies to all versions of DotNetNuke within the same major release (for example, upgrading from DotNetNuke 4.5.1 to DotNetNuke 4.9.5) but does not apply to major version changes (for example, upgrading from DotNetNuke 4.9.5 to DotNetNuke 5.6.3)

 Once per week we scan all of the websites on our shared hosting servers and cross-reference the results with our Security Scanner.  Based on the results of the security scanner, we will then send you an email notification detailing potential security issues with your DotNetNuke website.  This allows us to quickly and easily notify you of critical information regarding your website.
